Wednesday Q&A – 4/20/22

Ray’s question to Karen:

Q: My mood often changes when it comes to the ingredients I use or a particular type of food that I cook. I’ll be 1000% into trying something dozens of different ways before the mood exits as quickly as it arrived and I’m off to the next thing. Is it that way for you also? If so, what ingredients or recipes are currently ruling your kitchen?

A: Sometimes I do the same, but for right now, I seem to be in a transition phase. No one thing is ruling the day, but I have been spending a lot of time thinking about what herbs and vegetables to plant, which will definitely lead me there. When you have a bumper crop of oregano, you have to figure out what to do with it!

Karen’s Question to Ray:

Q: Do you always put cheese on your burger? What is your favorite burger topping?

A: No! I do enjoy a good cheeseburger and one of my favorite toppings to go with it is bacon. Not being one of the healthiest combos to pile on, I don’t go for a bacon cheese burger that often. When I skip the cheese, a burger with barbecue sauce fresh from the grill hits the spot nicely topped with some lettuce and tomatoes and if I’m in the mood, some onion.
